Implementation Blueprint for Health Tourism in Two Healthcare Centers of Shahroud University of Medical Sciences

During this session, the existing capacities and infrastructure of both medical centers were assessed, and practical strategies for the development and enhancement of health tourism were evaluated.Guided by the directives of the University President, emphasis was placed on the critical need for synergistic collaboration among relevant units, facilitating the admission processes for international patients, and elevating the quality of medical services.

Subsequently, the meeting established a cohesive operational structure to drive this initiative. This implementation blueprint is created on four principles: advancing clinical care standards, expanding infrastructure for international patient intake, streamlining comprehensive support services, and strengthening international communication channels to effectively attract global health travelers.
