Message of Congratulations by Dr. Rodbari, Deputy of Health, Shahroud University of Medical Sciences, and Head of the Health Center, on the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work

On the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work—marked every year on April 28 —and convened by the International Labour Organization (ILO) to promote a culture of safe and healthy work worldwide, I would like to extend my warm congratulations to all professionals and active stakeholders in this field.

This year’s theme, “Let’s ensure a healthy psychosocial working environment,” places special emphasis on the psychological aspects of workplaces.

Workplace health is not merely the absence of physical injuries; it also encompasses mental well-being and the personal growth of employees. The flourishing of every organization depends on the mental health of its workforce. A workplace where work pressures are managed constructively can create an environment that fosters creativity and enhances productivity. In fact, investing in mental health is the foundation for achieving a healthy and successful organization.

On this day, I congratulate all experts and devoted individuals who sincerely serve the people of Iran in this important area. I hope this day becomes an opportunity to review our approaches and further strengthen support programs for both the physical and mental health of workers at all levels.
