Follow-up on Healthcare Priorities of Shahroud and Meyami in Meeting with the Minister of Health

During a meeting between Mohammad Hassan Emamian, President of Shahroud University of Medical Sciences, Ahmad Ajam, representative of Shahroud and Meyami in Parliament, and Mohammadreza Zafarghandi, the Honorable Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, major healthcare priorities and development plans of the region were discussed and followed up.

 Key topics included salary adjustments for non-academic staff, the expansion of dental education and student admission, and the continuation of services at Ayatollah Shahroudi Dental Clinic. The meeting also addressed the acceleration of healthcare infrastructure projects, including the expansion of Imam Hossein Hospital, the School of Health, and the renovation of Imam Reza Hospital in Meyami.

In addition, the hosting of the closing ceremony of the 30th National Quran and Etrat Festival by Shahroud University of Medical Sciences was discussed, with the Minister emphasizing the Ministry’s full support for the event.

 At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Zafarghandi appreciated the efforts of the university staff and assured continued support for the university’s healthcare and development initiatives.
